1. Purpose of the service

Auberges Maroc is an independent catalogue of accommodation in Morocco. The service includes search, favourites, reviews, selected enquiries and, for authorised users, management of information relating to accommodation listings.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Auberges Maroc is not a party to any contract that may be entered into between a visitor and a listed accommodation provider.

2. Account creation and security

You must provide accurate information and retain access to the email address associated with your account.

You may use a password or, where available, sign in with Google. An account created with Google may operate without an Auberges Maroc password; you can set one later from “Profile and security”.

You are responsible for keeping your authentication methods secure and should report any unauthorised use you become aware of.

3. Reviews and published content

Reviews and content you submit must be genuine, relevant, lawful and respectful of third-party rights. Misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, promotional, fraudulent or irrelevant content may be rejected or removed.

By publishing content, you grant Auberges Maroc the non-exclusive permission required to host, display, format and distribute it as part of the service.

4. Claiming and managing an accommodation

Access to manage a listing may require verification. You must be legitimately authorised to represent or manage the relevant accommodation and provide accurate information during the process.

Auberges Maroc may suspend, revoke or refuse access where there is doubt about authorisation, a conflict between managers, misuse or a risk to catalogue integrity.

5. Catalogue information

We make reasonable efforts to keep listings up to date, but some information comes from accommodations, users or earlier sources and may become inaccurate.

Users should verify material information directly with the accommodation before making travel decisions or a booking.

6. Messages, paid services and payments

Some features may enable communication with an accommodation or access to paid services intended for managers. Applicable conditions and prices are shown before confirmation.

Payments may be processed by third-party providers such as Stripe or PayPal. Their own terms may apply to payment processing.

7. Prohibited use

You must not use the service to bypass protections, gain unauthorised access to accounts or data, automate abusive requests, distribute malware, impersonate others, misuse management features or disrupt the site.

8. Suspension and deletion

Auberges Maroc may restrict or suspend an account in cases of fraud, abuse, security risk, breach of these terms or where required by law.

You can permanently delete your account from “Profile and security”. Account deletion does not necessarily erase records that must be retained for legal, accounting, security or historical-integrity reasons. Reviews may remain in anonymised form.

9. Intellectual property

The site structure, visual identity, original texts, code and graphic elements are protected to the extent provided by law. Third-party trademarks, photographs and content remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these terms transfers ownership rights in Auberges Maroc or third-party content to the user.

10. Availability and liability

We aim to keep the service available and secure, but cannot guarantee continuous availability, a complete absence of errors or the permanent availability of every feature.

To the extent permitted by law, Auberges Maroc is not responsible for decisions, services or commitments made directly between a user and a third-party accommodation provider.

11. Changes to the service and these terms

The service and these terms may evolve. The version published on this page is the version applicable when it is consulted. Material changes may be communicated separately where necessary.

12. Applicable law and mandatory rights

These terms apply without prejudice to mandatory rules protecting users in their country of residence or otherwise binding the service operator. Where possible, disputes should first be addressed through an attempt at amicable resolution.
