Maison d'hôte Ait Hmid

I just spent three very pleasant nights with this family; the room was very clean and welcoming; we felt right at home; the meals and breakfast were delicious. A very worthwhile stop before heading into the desert. Take the opportunity to visit the palm grove and the kasbahs.

We found this guesthouse through some French people we met during our trip. Ahmed gave us a very warm welcome. We appreciated his beautiful, quiet, tastefully decorated rooms, his very clean and modern bathroom, and his impeccable bedding. Breakfast was served in the pleasant, relaxing patio. Ahmed is a wonderful host and shares his passion for guiding and hiking. He even gave us a short lesson on the art of preparing tea. The meals were delicious. N'kob is a good base for exploring the Draa Valley and a charming, authentic little town. Our stay was too short; we would have loved to spend more time with Ahmed and hike with him, but that will have to wait for another time.
